Gehlot also clarified to Sonia Gandhi as soon as Pilot came to Delhi, the argument did not work!

The decision of the battle of Rajasthan is now in the Delhi court. On one hand, Sachin Pilot has reached Delhi and on the other hand it is reported that Ashok Gehlot has spoken to the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi. He has presented his explanation while talking on the phone. According to sources, Gehlot told Sonia Gandhi that he has not challenged the high command. However, it has also been pointed out that Gehlot’s arguments are yet to materialize and the impasse continues.

The talks between the two leaders were for the first time since Sunday’s developments. Gehlot has contacted Sonia Gandhi at a time when Sachin Pilot, who is said to be the chief ministerial candidate in Rajasthan, has reached Delhi. There is talk of him meeting Sonia Gandhi. Earlier on Monday, Ashok Gehlot had reached the hotel before the supervisors left Jaipur. There he had a conversation with Mallikarjun Kharge. Kharge called it a formal meeting. Not against Sonia-Rahul: Khachariyawas

Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas, who was the leader in getting the MLAs to resign to block the path of Sachin Pilot, has also clarified while talking to the media that it is a family matter. He also said that not a single MLA is against Sonia or Rahul Gandhi. Khachariyawas said, “Congress will not be weakened by what the BJP says or does. BJP feels that everything is over in Rajasthan, the matter is an internal matter of the Congress family of Rajasthan. If angry MLAs have tendered their resignations in anger, then it is our family matter. There is not a single MLA against Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi.

Gehlot late?

If party sources are to be believed, the party high command is deeply hurt by the way Gehlot supporters overruled the messengers sent by Sonia Gandhi in Jaipur. The way the ministers of the Gehlot faction announced the resignations of the MLAs, the party got a lot of disgrace. The confidence of the party leadership has been shaken by the stand of Gehlot, who is said to be very close to the Gandhi family. Some senior party leaders believe that if no action is taken on the Gehlot camp, it will send a wrong message to the party. It is believed that the party leadership is considering options for action against the Gehlot camp.
