Nikita Murder Case: Faridabad Police has provided security to all the family members of the victim in the Nikita Tomar murder case. Also, the police has collected all the important evidence related to this incident. Police spokesman gave this information on Thursday. BCom Final Year student Nikita Tomar was shot dead by a youth outside the college last Monday.
A police spokesperson said that the gun, father and mother of the student Nikita have been given separate gunmen who will be posted under the protection of the three for 24 hours. He said that the police will file a chargesheet in the Nikita murder case within 12 days. Police claim that all the evidence related to the murder case has been collected. Now just preparing the charge sheet is yet to be presented in the court.
The spokesperson said that another accused in the Nikita murder case has been arrested by the police. He said that the police arrested the accused Azharuddin on Wednesday night from Nuh. Azruddin provided arms to Tausif, the main accused in the murder.
He said that after the completion of two days of custody of Tausif, the main accused in the Nikita murder case, the SIT produced him in the court today, from where he was sent to jail for 14 days judicial custody. At the same time, accused Ajrudin, who was arrested from Noonh on Wednesday night, was also produced in the court and also sent to jail. He said that Azruddin is accused of providing a country-made pistol to Tausif. He told that the remand of Tausif’s partner Rehan will be completed tomorrow and he will be produced in the court tomorrow.
At the same time, in front of Agarwal College in Ballabgarh, activists of an NGO named ‘Women’s Power’ marched on foot and demanded strict punishment of the accused. Keeping in mind the safety of the girl students, they also demanded the formation of a women’s cell in every college of the state and the deployment of women policemen.
Agarwal sat on a dharna outside the college demanding justice for Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) student leader Nikita Tomar. He said that if any incident happens in the college, the college administration will be responsible for it. He said that CCTV cameras should be installed at the entrance of the college and PCR should be done outside the college.
At the same time, the All India Kshatriya Mahasabha officials submitted a memorandum to SDM Jitendra Kumar demanding strict punishment for the accused in the Nikita murder case. Although the police removed the tents of the protesting students from there last night, but the students remained seated all night.
Several senior leaders, including Karni Sena national president Surajpal Ammu, former MLAs Sharda Rathore, Umesh Thakur, reached the dharna on Thursday and raised fierce slogans against the government and administration and demanded the execution of Nikita’s killers.
