Dragon is a liar! India rejects Chinese claim on Indo-US military exercise

India has rejected China’s claim, in which it termed the Indo-US military exercise against the earlier agreements. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the exercise has nothing to do with any previous agreement, but the agreements which China is referring to, it itself has been violating.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi told reporters that the ongoing Indo-US military exercise in Auli has no relation to the Indo-China agreements of 1993-96. The Chinese side has been violating the provisions of these agreements. He should consider why he is not following them. Bagchi said that the Indo-US military exercise is going on and no third party has any right to interfere in it.

In response to another question, regarding the Pentagon’s report, the spokesman said that no third party has the right to interfere in India-US relations. In fact, according to the Pentagon report, China has commented on the growing Indo-US relations and it also mentions the slow progress in talks on the issue of East Ladakh. Bagchi said that we hope that the talks will be beneficial. India is in favor of withdrawal of troops from LAC and reduction of tension.

German Foreign Minister is coming to India

Bagchi said that German Foreign Minister Annalina Bierbock would be on a visit to India from December 5-6. She will hold talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on December 5 to review the strategic alliance, bilateral relations involving shared interests. He told that there is a strategic alliance between Germany and India. During the visit of the German Foreign Minister to India, the two sides will discuss bilateral relations and regional and global issues of common interest.

Celebrated 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations

The spokesman said that India and Germany have celebrated the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in the year 2021. This year Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Berlin to participate in the 6th Indo-German Inter-Governmental Conference. Apart from this, it had participated in the meeting of G7 countries as a participant country. Earlier on Thursday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met German Ambassador to India Philipp Ackermann and discussed bilateral relations.
