The Bombay High Court on Monday pulled up Sameer Wankhede, surrounded by allegations of extortion in the Aryan Khan drugs case. The court also questioned the leak of a chat between the former zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau and Shah Rukh Khan to the media. The court asked Wankhede whether you had leaked those chats to the media. The court said that even when the matter is pending in the court, why things related to it are floating on social media. However, the High Court has also given relief to Sameer Wankhede that he will not be arrested till June 8.

Meanwhile, the court has given the CBI time till June 3 to file its reply in the matter. Not only this, Sameer Wankhede said that I have been receiving threats continuously for the last 4 days. I will inform the entire matter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner. The High Court asked Sameer Wankhede whether you are responsible for the leaked WhatsApp chats. It is seen in the leaked chats that Shahrukh Khan and Wankhede are talking about the arrest of Aryan Khan. In these chats, Shahrukh Khan appeals to show some leniency towards his son. However, in this case also questions are being raised on Sameer Wankhede.

The reason for this is that Sameer Wankhede talking to the family of the accused is considered a violation of service rules. At the same time, Wankhede’s lawyer said in the court that an integrity officer is being harassed in this case. He said that even when Wankhede has spoken of cooperation in the investigation, why is he being harassed. At the same time, the CBI said that Wankhede is not cooperating in the investigation. The agency said Wankhede did not want to divulge many aspects related to the case. The CBI said that it was Wankhede who made the chats of his conversation with Shahrukh viral.

What are the allegations against Sameer Wankhede

It is alleged at Wankhede that he and his accomplices had demanded Rs 25 crore from Shah Rukh Khan. There is an allegation of making this demand in lieu of getting Shahrukh’s son out of the drugs case. In this case, the CBI had registered a case against Wankhede and others on May 11. Wankhede is facing charges of criminal conspiracy, extortion threats.
