In the capital Delhi, the weather has once again become pleasant due to light drizzle at some places on Saturday morning. The Meteorological Department estimates that the weather of the capital may remain like this for the next two days.
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of cloudy sky and light rain in Delhi today, due to which people can get some relief from the heat.
For the first time this month in Delhi, the maximum temperature returned to normal on Friday. The temperature also dropped due to cloudy sky and south-easterly winds throughout the day. The people of Delhi had to face more than normal heat this February. The same trend of the weather remains in March as well. The maximum temperature has not normalized even once in this month.
Generally, the maximum temperature in March remained above normal by two to five degrees. A day earlier on Thursday, both the maximum and minimum temperatures were five degrees above normal each, but most parts of Delhi remained overcast since Friday morning. The presence of clouds remained in the sky throughout the day. Due to this, there was no strong sunlight. Due to these weather activities, there has been a significant drop in the maximum temperature of Delhi.
The day’s maximum temperature at Delhi’s Standard Observatory, Safdarjung, was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius. Which is the normal temperature of this time. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 17.2 degree Celsius, which is one degree above normal. The humidity level here ranged from 77 to 47 per cent.
