According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, there are currently 2,77,020 active cases of corona in the country. At the same time, the number of corona vaccinations across the country has increased to 88,34,70,578. In the last 24 hours, 65,34,306 people have been given vaccine doses.
Currently, 2,77,020 people are undergoing treatment for corona virus infection in the country, which is 0.82 percent of the total cases. This rate is the lowest since March 2020. A total reduction of 5,500 was recorded in the number of patients under treatment in the last 24 hours. The national recovery rate of patients is 97.85 percent, which is the highest since March 2020. According to the data, a total of 56,89,56,439 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the country so far, out of which 15,06,254 samples were tested on Wednesday.
The daily infection rate is 1.56 per cent, which is less than three per cent for the last 31 days. At the same time, the weekly infection rate is 1.74 percent, which has remained less than three percent for the last 97 days. So far, a total of 3,30,14,898 people have become infection free, while the death rate is 1.33 percent. So far, more than 88.34 crore doses of anti-COVID-19 vaccines have been administered under the nationwide immunization drive.
