As the cases of corona virus are increasing in India, the testing is also continuously increasing. 14 crore samples have been tested so far. According to government data, a total of 14 crore samples have been tested for the corona virus in the last 11 months. Out of which 1 crore tests alone have been done in the last 10 days.

9 lakh samples tested on Monday
According to government data, around 9,00,000 samples were tested on Monday. Let me tell you, the first test of corona virus in the country was done on 23 January. An average of 1 lakh tests are done every day in 2.165 laboratories authorized by the Indian Council of Medical Research. They have the capacity to test at least 15,00,000 samples per day.
ICMR, the country’s top biomedical research institution, is continuously building labs for testing of Kovid-19 in the country. ICMR has expanded the network of testing labs in the country in such a short time. Consequently, there has been a steady increase in corona virus testing. A total of 10,000 Kovid-19 tests were conducted by the end of April. After this, the number has increased to 50 million in June, 5 crore in September, 10 crore in October and 14 million in November.
Talking about the Quick Rapid Antigen Test, an official said that the RAT test is recommended in places where rapid testing is required. Along with this, the Center has asked the states to try to detect the Kovid-19 infection in places like workplace, religious places, markets and other places where there is a high probability of crowd gathering.
