After the arrival of 46254 new cases of Corona in India in the last 24 hours, the total number of cases was 83,13,877. According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths has increased to 1,23,611 after the deaths of 514 patients in the last 24 hours. According to the ministry, active cases stood at 5,33,787 after a decrease of 7,618. After 53,357 new discharges, the total number of cured cases was 76,56,478.
Corona cases rise in Delhi, Bengal, Kerala and Manipur: Center
The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that between October 3 and November 3, cases of corona virus infection have increased in Kerala, Delhi, West Bengal and Manipur. During the same period, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh were among the top states where Kovid-19 cases registered a decline.
Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that for the last seven weeks, the average number of cases and deaths of Kovid-19 daily has continued to decline. For this reason the health system has not been unnecessarily burdened, the pressure on hospitals has come down. He said that between 16 September and 22 September, the country received an average of 90,346 cases daily, but between 28 October and 3 November, an average of 45,884 cases a day came. Bhushan said that between October 3 and November 3, the number of under-treated patients in West Bengal increased from 26,865 to 36,576, from 77564 in Kerala to 86,792, from 26,450 in Delhi to 33,308 and from 2336 in Manipur to 3568.
Death rate decreased:
Bhushan said that between 16 September and 22 September, an average of 1165 people died of corona every day, while between October 28 and November 3, there were 513 deaths. He said that despite the decline in the number of infections, we need to keep the policy vigorously on investigation, contact detection and treatment.
Charges to limit investigation dismissed:
A private laboratory had alleged that government officials in some districts were trying to limit investigations to show cases to be less. Dismissing these allegations, Bhushan said that the number of investigations has not come down. He said a total of 10,46,247 investigations were conducted on Tuesday. For the last six-seven weeks, about 11 lakh investigations are being done daily in the country. India has the capacity to conduct more than 1.5 million tests daily.
