Corona breaks all records so far in Delhi, 5673 new cases and 40 deaths in one day

The cases of corona virus infection in Delhi continue to increase rapidly. Today’s cases in the national capital have broken all records. A total of 5673 new cases were reported here on Wednesday, the highest so far in a day. At the same time, a total of 40 people have also died due to corona in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Bulletin of the Delhi Government released on Wednesday evening, the number of total infected has now increased to 3 lakh 70 thousand 014 with 5673 new cases. Today, a total of 4128 people have recovered after treatment. The number of those who beat Corona in Delhi has now reached 3 lakh 32 thousand 240. So far, a total of 6396 people have died due to Corona Mahamari in Delhi.

With the increasing number of cases, the number of active cases has now reached 29 thousand 378. Out of this, 16 thousand 822 patients are taking health benefits by staying in home isolation. The rest of the patients are being treated in different hospitals in Delhi. More than 16 thousand beds are still vacant for Kovid patients. Talking about the Containment Zone, now their number has increased to 3047 in Delhi.

A total of 60 thousand 571 corona samples were investigated in the national capital today. Out of this, 17 thousand 284 samples were tested through RTPCR / CBNAT / TRUNAT and the remaining samples were tested through rapid antigen test. A total of 45 lakh 16 thousand 600 corona samples have been investigated so far in Delhi.
