Delhi had seen a sharp decline in the number of new cases in the last few months. For the first time after the outbreak of the pandemic, no new cases were found in Delhi on January 16, but now once again the cases of Covid have started increasing.

The Health Department said that Delhi’s Kovid hospitals have 7,985 beds, of which 46 are occupied. At the same time 410 Kovid patients are in home isolation. There are 538 active cases in Delhi. Amid the rise in corona cases in Delhi, medical experts say that due to the new XBB.1.16 variant of the corona virus, a sharp increase in cases can be seen. However, doctors say that there is no need to panic. Experts have advised people to follow the Covid protocol and take booster doses of the vaccine. At the same time, people are also falling ill due to H3N2 virus.
