In Rajasthan, the effect of the long-standing differences between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot is now visible on his supporters and workers as well. In Ajmer on Thursday, the Congress party wanted to take feedback on the election preparations, but the workers of both the factions beat each other and told how hot the atmosphere was. The talk started with an argument and in no time it rained kicks and bribes. The program turned into an arena.
Congress AICC secretary and Rajasthan co-incharge Amrita Dhawan had a feedback program with Congress office bearers in the city on Thursday in Ajmer. For this program of Dhawan, all the preparations were done by the city Congress at Govindam Garden located in Vaishali Nagar. Even before Dhawan reached the spot, Congress leaders and common workers from the countryside and the city reached there. Apart from Gehlot’s close friend and Minister of State Dharmendra Rathore, Pilot faction MLA Rakesh Pareek was also present.
Uproar happened before Dhawan’s arrival
City Congress President Vijay Jain said that this program belonged to the city Congress office bearers but the rural office bearers and workers also reached in this programme. When he informed the Congress workers about this, the leaders and workers of the Gehlot group started making noise. In the midst of this din, he forcibly tried to spoil the program.
