Now he has attacked the Congress over the lands of Kamla Nehru Educational Society. Aditi Singh has written a complaint to the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) alleging economic irregularities in the Kamla Nehru Educational Society.

Rebel MLA Aditi Singh has tweeted that the land has been taken in the name of promoting the education of the girl child, even after decades it has not been used. And now we are in the process of selling that land for crores. Today I have written a letter to the Economic Offenses Wing to investigate the fraud and huge money fraud of the Kamla Nehru Educational Society.

Talking to News18 channel, Aditi Singh said that I have written a letter to EOW to investigate the economic mess in the society. He has said that the purpose for which the Kamala Nehru Educational Society was formed was never fulfilled. The land given to the society was also not used to promote girls’ education. He further said that freehold change of land is illegal as there are around 150 shops which provide employment to 600 people.

The Kamla Nehru Educational Society was established in 1976 in the Civil Lines area of Rae Bareli from Kailash Chandra of Sidhauli at an annual rent of Rs 1135. Eight members of this society have now died. Including Umashankar Dixit, father-in-law of former New Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, Yashpal Kapoor, personal assistant to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and former minister Sheila Kaul. In 2003, a new committee was formed, consisting of members of the Kaul family along with former Union Minister Salman Khurshid and senior advocate Lalit Bhasin.
