Congress is busy digging my grave and I am building expressways… PM Modi’s attack on Karnataka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the 118-km Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway project. According to officials, this will reduce the travel time between the two cities from about three hours to about one hour and 15 minutes. He informed that the Rs 8,480-crore project involves six-laning of the Bengaluru-Nidaghatta-Mysuru section of National Highway-275. During this, PM Modi attacked the Congress fiercely.

Targeting the Congress, PM Modi said that the Congress is busy digging my grave, while I am busy building the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, improving the lives of the poor. Under the double engine government in Karnataka, farmers are getting double the benefits.

He said that during the Congress rule, the poor had to wander from door to door to get benefits, but in the BJP government, they get benefits sitting at home. Work is going on for modern infrastructure in the country, Karnataka is changing, India is changing.

PM Modi accused the Congress alliance of ruining the poor. He said, “The Congress-led coalition has left no stone unturned to destroy the poor, the Congress looted the poor, the pain of the poor does not matter to them.”

At the inauguration of the expressway, PM Modi said that good infrastructure enhances ease of living, creates new opportunities for progress. Initiatives like ‘Bharatmala’ and ‘Sagarmala’ are changing the landscape of India. The Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway has made our youth proud. The double engine government is making constant efforts to return the love of the people with interest through rapid development.

Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone for the four-lane Mysuru-Kushalnagar highway. This 92 km long road project will be developed at a cost of about Rs 4,130 crore. The project will play a vital role in strengthening the connectivity of Kushalnagar with Bengaluru and help reduce the travel time between them from about five hours to just two and a half hours. Earlier, Modi did a massive roadshow in Mandya.
