Congress gave promotion to Pawan Khera, who talked about lack of austerity, was angry for not sending him to Rajya Sabha

Congress has appointed Pawan Khera as the chairman of the media and publicity cell of its new communication department. With the approval of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Pawan Khera has been given this responsibility. This information has been given in a letter issued by party general secretary KC Venugopal. This promotion is believed to be for Pawan Kheda. Actually Pawan Kheda was claiming himself to be a Rajya Sabha candidate, but he did not get this opportunity. Expressing sorrow on this, he said that perhaps there must have been some deficiency in my penance. It is believed that the compensation for not sending him to the Rajya Sabha has been done through this promotion.

In the letter issued by KC Venugopal, it was said, ‘Pawan Khera is appointed as the Chairman of Media and Publicity Department with the permission of President Sonia Gandhi. This appointment comes into force with immediate effect. Let us inform that in the last week of May, the Congress had announced the names of candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections. The name of Pawan Kheda was not in this list, who was claiming. On this, he had tweeted and said that maybe there was something missing in my penance. His tweet was widely discussed in political circles and it was seen as his displeasure with the Congress.

Not only this, his tweet was retweeted by another Congress leader Nagma. Nagma had targeted Imran Pratapgarhi while sharing Pawan Khera’s tweet. He wrote, ‘Our 18 years of penance fell short in front of Imran Pratapgarhi.’ Significantly, many other senior leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma have also not been sent by the Congress to the Rajya Sabha this time.
