Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and several other senior party leaders reached Udaipur around 5 am on Friday to attend the party’s Chintan Shivir where they were accorded a warm welcome by Congress workers. Apart from Rahul Gandhi, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, senior leader Jairam Ramesh and many other leaders reached Udaipur by boarding a train from Delhi’s Sarai Rohilla station.
Rahul Gandhi was accorded a warm welcome at Chittorgarh railway station in Rajasthan on Friday morning on his arrival in the Congress-ruled state for a three-day ‘Chintan Shivir’. In a video shared by MP Manickam Tagore and other Congress leaders, Rahul can be seen greeting people with folded hands, getting down from the train.
In the video, Rahul Gandhi is seen taking garlands and gifts from a Congress worker amid a crowd of policemen and journalists. Congress MP Manickam Tagore told that this view is at 5 in the morning. He tweeted, “At 5 am, Chittorgarh Railway Station… Our Congress leader #RahulGandhi is being welcomed by Congress workers and local leaders (sic).”

Apart from Udaipur, Congressmen were also seen standing to welcome Rahul Gandhi at other places. Hundreds of Congress workers warmly welcomed Rahul with flower garlands at Rewari in Haryana, Dabla railway station in Sikar district of Rajasthan. Before reaching Rajasthan by train, several porters met Rahul Gandhi at the station and shared some of their problems.
