Sarkari Naukri CAPFs Cadre ReviewThe Central Government is continuously working towards creating new jobs and improving centralized recruitment and services. In this sequence, the Central Government has approved the Cadre Review process for the Central Armed Police Forces. Along with the Medical Cadre Review for the Central Armed Police Forces, the Central Government has also approved the creation of 58 new posts. These posts will be of senior officer rank.

Equal number of posts will also be abolished

Giving information on Thursday, officials said that the central government has approved the proposal for cadre review for the medical cadre of CAPFs by creating 58 new posts in senior ranks and eliminating an equal number of posts. Eight new posts of Inspector General (Medical) i.e. IG Health and 50 posts of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) have been created for this wing.

Responsible for the care of about 10 lakh personnel

The officers posted in the above posts have around 10 lakh personnel enrolled in the Assam Rifles and NSG besides CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF and SSB. Responsible for taking care of The Medical Wing is headed by an Additional Director General-Rank (ADG Rank) officer.

The total number of posts in the cadre will be 1,975.

At the same time, a senior official of the Union Home Ministry told news agency PTI that the creation of new posts will not put any financial burden on the government, as 58 posts of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) have been abolished.
