British Bias Corporation… Protest against BBC documentary in London too, hundreds of people gathered

Uproar has now started in Britain also regarding the BBC documentary made by targeting Narendra Modi regarding the 2002 Gujarat riots. On Sunday, a crowd of Indians living there gathered at the headquarters of BBC in London and protested against this documentary. Please tell that this documentary has been banned in India. Despite the ban on its screening, it was screened in colleges in Kerala, West Bengal and several other states.

Indian people protested against the screening of BBC’s documentary ‘India: The Modi Question’ and demanded the BBC to stop it. They had placards with various slogans written in their hands. It was written in these, ‘Boycott BBC, British Bias Corporation, BBC, you cannot deserve public money.’ The tricolor was unfurling outside the BBC headquarters and people were shouting and expressing their protest. Slogans of ‘BBC shame’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ were being raised.

According to the Times of India, the protester, who runs a construction company, said, this documentary is spreading lies about the Prime Minister of India. It is running a fake agenda. He said that BBC has cut the interview according to its own way so that its agenda can be justified. He further said, BBC has done this to give wrong message in India so that there is a difference between the past of Hindus and Muslims. Who are these people who question the Supreme Court of India? There are many forces which are working behind the scenes to stop PM Modi in 2024.

Another person said that the Supreme Court heard the case for 10 years and Modi was nowhere found guilty. BBC is blowing this matter out of hand. The BBC has no right to interfere in the affairs of any country. Why doesn’t the BBC watch UK hooligans. Has BBC made a documentary on any British tragedy? Another said, BBC never showed anything on kidnapping of Hindus in Pakistan. He did not interview even a single family whose member was killed in the Godhra incident.

Let us tell you that the matter of ban on BBC documentary has reached the Supreme Court. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court stating that the government has taken a wrong decision. Hearing on this petition is to be held on 6 February. Advocate ML Sharma has raised a constitutional question in his petition and termed the decision as violative of Article 19(1)(2) of the Constitution.
