Allahabad High Court has accepted the bail application of mafia Brajesh Singh in the murder case of Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari. This order has been given by Justice Arvind Kumar Mishra. Brajesh Singh is in jail in this case since 2009. A case was registered against Brajesh Singh and others at Mahbubabad police station in Ghazipur under several sections of the IPC, including murder and murder.
However, even after getting bail in this case, there is doubt about Brajesh Singh coming out of jail. Brajesh Singh was caught from Orissa in 2007 after absconding for several years. Since then he is lodged in Varanasi jail.
Brajesh, along with his associates, is accused of carrying out a deadly attack on Mukhtar Ansari’s convoy. Mukhtar’s gunner was killed in the attack and several others were injured. In support of the bail, it was said on behalf of the petitioner that he is in jail since 2009 in this case. Earlier, his first bail application was rejected by the Allahabad High Court.
Along with this, the court had directed the trial judge that the testimony of all the witnesses should be completed within one year in the trial of the trial and the trial should be completed. Even after the lapse of its period, the statement of only one witness could be recorded. It was also stated that there is a criminal history of 15 criminal cases against the petitioner.
He has been acquitted in most of these. Only three cases are under trial. He is out on bail in two of these cases. He has not got bail only in this one case. The trial of the case is not expected to be completed soon.
The bail application was opposed by the state government and Mukhtar Ansari. It was said that there are 41 criminal cases against the petitioner. It is not fair to release him from jail. After the hearing, the court ordered the release of Brajesh Singh on bail in view of the facts and circumstances.
