Bloody politics is not new in Pakistan, Prime Minister, President… all have become victims of conspiracy

Attempts were made to assassinate the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. The attacker has confessed to this. Although he said that no one is after him. Apart from this, the attacker also confessed that he wanted to kill Imran Khan long ago. Imran Khan has blamed three people behind this attack, including the name of current Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Pakistani media says that Imran Khan is out of danger now. However, this attack has revived the memory of the ‘bloody history’ of Pakistani politics. Since the formation of Pakistan in 1947, bloody games have been going on in politics. Here those who reached the top of power were always on the target of someone else. From shooting to hanging, there were conspiracies. There were even suicide attacks.

First Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan assassinated

Liaquat Ali Khan, the first Prime Minister of Pakistan, was also assassinated on 16 October 1951. He was shot in the Company Bagh of Rawalpindi. He was sitting on the stage during a public meeting of the Muslim League. The mystery behind Khan’s death is still a mystery. Liaquat Ali Khan was considered very close to Muhammad Ali Jinnah. However, Liaquat Ali Khan was one of the leaders who did not want to allow radicalization to take hold in Pakistan.

Prime Minister hanged

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a very popular leader in Pakistan. However, he was hanged during the dictatorial rule by Jadnaral Zia-ul-Haq. Law experts call it judicial murder. Zia was the President and Army Chief of Pakistan from 1978 to 1988. He snatched power from Zulfikar. Zulfikar was the first prime minister who was elected by the people.

Zia-ul-Haq also died in the accident

Nine years after Bhutto’s execution, Zia-ul-Haq also died under suspicious circumstances. It is said that he died in a plane crash in 1988. At the same time it was also said that it was a murder. The plane crash was done as per the complete plan. He was the Chief Martial Law Administrator and Army Chief at the time of his death. Accusations of this murder were made on Murtaza Bhutto, brother of Zeer Bhutto. However, no evidence of this could be found.

murder of benazir bhutto

Where was the bloody game that started after the formation of Pakistan? While Liaquat Ali Khan was assassinated in Liaquat Gardens, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was also targeted. He was shot dead on 27 December 2007. Lah was the daughter of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

Bhutto became prime minister twice. Attempts were made to kill her earlier but she survived. In 2007, there was a bomb blast in Karsaj in which 180 people were killed. She was preparing to become prime minister for the third time but she was assassinated. The Taliban is believed to be responsible behind this. After his assassination, there was political upheaval in Pakistan and seeing the opportunity, General Pervez Musharraf seized power. Musharraf was also accused of threatening Bhutto over phone calls.

In April this year, Imran Khan had said that his genes were at risk. He had said that he would continue to fight for the country. He had said during the no-confidence motion in Parliament that the opposition remains a puppet of foreign hands. In Pakistan, the army remains heavy on the government. Because of this the government cannot remain stable.
