The BJP’s protest against the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal is now taking a fierce form. According to media reports, the protesters in Howrah broke the barricades and moved ahead. After this the BJP had warned that it would hold a state-wide protest.

In Howrah, the police fired tear gas shells at the protesters and tried to disperse them. According to the information, BJP workers are now in the direction of a fierce demonstration. Stone pelting has also taken place at many places. The police lathi-charged the workers and then used water cannons. Police are using drones to keep surveillance.

Big leaders of BJP have been detained during the protests. It also includes Shubhendu Adhikari. It is being told that after being taken into custody, BJP leaders have been taken to Lalbazar Police Headquarters. Before being taken into custody, Shubhendu Adhikari attacked Mamta Banerjee and said that she has now lost the support of the people and she has turned Bengal into North Korea. He said, the police is acting like a puppet of Mamata Banerjee. He will have to bear the brunt because BJP is coming to Bengal.
