BJP cuts the grand alliance in Bihar, plans to connect small parties with NDA before elections

Before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP is working on a new strategy regarding Bihar. If sources are to be believed, BJP’s plan is to bring smaller parties together, which can prove to be a cut of the Grand Alliance. It is believed that the ruling party at the Center is trying to unite those small parties who are angry with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Bihar BJP President Samrat Chaudhary and state in-charge Vinod Tawde have started implementing this strategy. Not only this, BJP has also made many changes in its organization keeping in mind the 2024 elections. Under this many state presidents have been changed. In place of Sanjay Jaiswal, Samrat Chaudhary has been given the charge of state president.

Samrat Chowdhary met Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde in Delhi on Tuesday. During this, talks were held between the two leaders regarding the political developments in Bihar. Along with this, the strategy to bring small parties angry with CM Nitish to NDA before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was also discussed. According to the report of news agency ANI, the first attempt of BJP is to bring small parties in its fold. After this, efforts will be intensified to make a dent in the vote bank of the Grand Alliance.

BJP is eyeing these small parties

Significantly, Upendra Kushwaha had announced his new party last month after leaving Nitish’s JDU. However, within 24 hours of this, he had met the then Bihar BJP President Sanjay Jaiswal. This clearly indicates that Kushwaha can definitely help BJP in cutting into the votes of CM Nitish. Sources say that Nitish’s own caste for BJP and RCP Singh, who was a minister at the Center from JDU quota, can also play a big role. All efforts will be made to make a dent in JDU’s vote bank through Singh as well. Along with this, BJP’s eyes are also on Chirag Paswan. The party high command has already thrown the dice to bring Paswan in its fold by giving Z category security. Under these efforts, VIP’s Mukesh Sahni has also been given Z category security.

Attempt to break into OBC vote bank

If we talk about party leader and former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, then BJP is trying to keep him in its favor before the Lok Sabha elections. It is said that in this connection, Samrat Chaudhary had recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Parliament House. There was a meeting between the Emperor and PM Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday as well. Keep in mind that once again RJD and JDU have come together in the state. In August last year, Nitish Kumar broke his alliance with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). After this, Nitish joined hands with Tejashwi Yadav under ‘Mahagathbandhan’ and became the Chief Minister of the state for the eighth time. In view of this, the BJP has started working on a new strategy before the Lok Sabha elections. Its main focus is to make a dent in the OBC vote bank by bringing smaller parties on board. It is known that Bihar has 40 Lok Sabha seats.
