Bihar Weather: Monsoon is going to be kind in Bihar on Saturday as well. Heavy rain is expected in 11 districts of the state. In the month of June, where the condition of Bihar was bad due to scorching heat. People were troubled by the heat of summer, while the arrival of monsoon has brought relief to the people from the heat. It has been raining heavily in different parts of the state for the last three days. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will remain rainy till July 5. After the entry of monsoon, most parts of North Bihar are receiving more than 40 mm of rain. Whereas, the southern part received three to 30 mm of rain.
Many rivers of the state are in spate
Meanwhile, the rivers of the state are in spate due to good rains in Bihar. The water level in Kosi river at Vasua in Supaul and Parman river in Araria is 118 cm above the danger mark. At the same time, the water level in Gandak located at Dumaria Ghat in Gopalganj is 50 cm above the danger mark. Mahananda in Kishanganj is 90 cm above the danger mark. Purnia is 87 cms and Katihar’s Jhawa is up 104 cms.
Chance of rain in these districts
The districts of the state where there is a possibility of heavy rains are Gopalganj, Buxar, West Champaran, Aurangabad, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Arwal, Siwan, Saran, Bhabua, East Champaran. There is a good chance of rain here. There is a possibility of rain at many places in the rest of the districts.
Appeal to people to take shelter in pucca houses
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of lightning in all the districts of the state and appealed to the people not to go out of the house without work. The Meteorological Department has asked people to take shelter in pucca houses. 26 lives have been lost due to the lightning. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has talked about giving a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the families of all.
