The BJP’s 22 rebels were in the fray on the LJP ticket. The incident of many prominent BJP leaders coming to the LJP and picking up the symbol was very rude in the election. However, LJP could not do well with these rebels. On a single seat, these rebels could not succeed in getting LJP a seat.
In all three phases, BJP rebels were in the fray on LJP ticket. JDU rebel and former minister Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha contested from LJP ticket and lost. Of these 22 rebels, 21 were against JDU. At the same time, one candidate was against VIP from Baniyapur. Among the BJP rebels who contested from LJP, such leaders include Rajendra Singh from Dinara, Rameshwar Chaurasia from Sasaram, Usha Vidyarthi from Paliganj, Dr. Ravindra Yadav from Jhajha, Indu Kashyap from Jehanabad, Rakesh Kumar Singh from Ghoshi, Sandesh. Shweta Singh and Mrinal Shekhar from Amarpur.
In the second phase, Manoj Kumar Singh from Raghunathpur, Vinod Tiwari from Jiradei, Rajiv Kumar Thakur from Gowdaibaram, Pradeep Kumar Thakur from Darbhanga Rural, Kumar Dev Ranjan Singh from Maharajganj, Tarkeshwar Singh from Baniapur, Kameshwar Singh Munna from Ekma. The third phase includes Vijay Prasad Gupta from Sugauli, Paramanand Rishidev from Raniganj, Chandrashekhar Singh Baban from Araria, Chandrabhushan Thakur from Kadwa, Pramod Kumar Priyadarshi from Laukha, Sakar Suresh Yadav from Madhepura and Vibhashchandra Chaudhary from Barari.
