Assam CM security lapse case: Case registered against TRS leader, mike was removed by climbing on stage

Police have registered a case against TRS leader Nand Kishore Vyas in Hyderabad in connection with the security lapse of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Vyas is alleged to have tried to confront the Assam CM and tried to remove the mike on the podium at Mojamjahi Market in Hyderabad. A video of this entire incident also surfaced.

In fact, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had reached Hyderabad on Friday to attend a program organized by the Ganesh Chaturthi Utsav Samiti. The speech of an office-bearer of the committee, who was addressing the program, was interrupted by the person, causing disturbance.

According to the information, Bhagwant Rao, general secretary of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti (BGUS), was addressing the gathering at Mojamjahi Market in the city when the said person suddenly bowed down the mike and turned towards Sharma. He was immediately taken down from the stage by Rao and others. There was a slight noise due to this.

Police officials were not available at the time to share the person’s identity and other information. The Chief Minister on Friday visited the popular Goddess Bhagya Lakshmi temple in Charminar and also interacted with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and leaders during his visit to the city. BGUS is an umbrella body setting up Ganesh pandals in the city during Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
