Patna DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has said that a case will be registered against them on the basis of video footage and WhatsApp message. He said video footage of some coaching centers and WhatsApp messages were found on the mobile devices of those arrested. We are examining the role of coaching centers based on that material. Strict action will be taken against the coaching institutes whose involvement will be established.

FIR registered against 170 people so far, 46 arrested

Patna DM said that we have deployed security forces at important places. We appeal to the students to protest peacefully. An FIR has been registered against 170 people while 46 people have been arrested for vandalism at Danapur railway station.

Internet shutdown in 12 districts of Bihar

The Nitish government has decided to shut down the internet in 12 districts of the state to protest in Bihar. The districts where internet facility has been banned include Rohtas, Lakhisarai, Aurangabad, Kaimur, Bhojpur, Buxar, Saran, Samastipur, Begusarai, Nawada, Champaran and Vaishali. This ban will remain in force for a separate 48 hours.

Demolition at 27 railway stations in Bihar

Let us inform that on Friday, there were violent demonstrations in many districts of Bihar against the Army’s Agneepath plan for the third day. In Lakhisarai where one person died. At the same time, 27 railway stations were vandalized and arson and 14 trains were torched. Apart from police-administration vehicles, the homes and offices of BJP leaders were also targeted.
