Agnipath Scheme: Conspiracy to fuel violent protests in Kanpur, trying to incite youth through WhatsApp chat


A conspiracy is being hatched to fuel the violent demonstrations going on in various states across the country against the Agneepath scheme. A screenshot of WhatsApp is going viral on social media. It has been said to block the highway and set up police posts. After the information, the police came into action, with the help of cyber cell, many suspects have been identified.

The screenshot which went viral on social media on Friday is of a WhatsApp group named Boycat TOD. In the chatting people associated with the group, it is being said that Ramadevi chowki was set on fire. There was also talk of jamming the Kanpur-Hamirpur road. People were asked to be ready for this and sought support.

Joint Police Commissioner Anand Prakash Tiwari said that many people associated with the group have been identified. Action will be taken on these soon. He further said that under the guise of students, an attempt has been made to spoil the atmosphere of Kanpur. Some chaotic elements and organizations were planning to protest violently by instigating the students. on which action is being taken.

Let us inform that the police have got a screenshot of the chat of the WhatsApp group going viral. The name of this group is Boycott TOD, in which violence is being incited to spread. In this group, there was talk of spreading violence in different areas of Kanpur.
