Indian Air Force has released the detail notice for the recruitment to be done under the recruitment under Agneepath scheme. In this notification IAF has informed that Agneepath is a new HR Management Plan for Armed Forces and this Agneepath is a new HR Management Plan for Armed Forces. The candidates who are included through this scheme will be called as Agniveer. They will be recruited for 4 years under the Air Force Act 1950. Efforts will be made to nominate candidates as Agniveer from all parts of the country.

This will be the age limit

Candidates between 17.5 years to 21 years will be able to participate in this recruitment. This recruitment will be for four years. After this, 25 percent of the personnel will be enrolled back to the regular cadre on the basis of performance. Please note that the candidates will have no right to be selected for further enrollment in the Armed Forces. The selection will be the exclusive jurisdiction of the Government. Enrollment as Airmen in the regular cadre of the Indian Air Force, other than Medical Tradesmen, will be given only to those personnel who have completed their period of service as Agniveer.
