Agnipath: CM Soren told the Center ‘Sloganveer’, BJP’s counterattack – this preaching does not suit ‘Ghosnaveer’


Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attacked the BJP-led central government over the Agneepath scheme. Describing the central government as ‘sloganveer’, Soren made fun of the name ‘Agniveer’. However, the word game of ‘Veer’ did not end here. After this, the BJP of the state called the Chief Minister ‘Ghosnaveer’.

Violent demonstrations taking place in many states

Soren’s remarks come at a time when job aspirants in the defense sector are protesting violently against the scheme. These demonstrations have shaken many states.

Agniveer’s name made fun of

Expressing his views on the Agneepath scheme, Soren tweeted in Hindi, “Restoration contract and name Agniveer! What else can be expected from this sloganveer government? Wake up, wake up future leaders!”

BJP called ‘Ghoshnaveer’

Reacting to Soren’s Twitter, BJP termed him as ‘Ghoshnaveer’. BJP national vice-president Raghuvar Das said in a tweet, “This preaching does not suit Ghosnaveer. Those who snatched people’s jobs by promising five lakh jobs in a year and falsely promised unemployment allowance, pretending to be benevolent of the youth. Mr. Chief Minister, the future leaders will give you a befitting reply.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das said that Agneepath scheme will provide an opportunity to the youth to serve the nation. Protests against the plan took place in several parts of Jharkhand and a section of protesters blocked rail tracks affecting services.
