After the defeat of Gola Gokarnath, Mayawati sprinkles salt on the wounds of SP, asked what excuse will Akhilesh make now

BSP supremo Mayawati has made a direct attack on Akhilesh Yadav over the defeat of the Samajwadi Party in the Gola Gokarnath assembly seat of UP. He said that BSP was not in the electoral fray in Gola. Now what excuse will SP make for this defeat? In fact, since the last assembly elections in UP, there has been a competition between the BSP and the Samajwadi Party to give a message to the voters. In this, while the Samajwadi Party is accusing the BSP of deliberately giving such candidates in collusion with the BJP, which harms the SP candidate and benefits the BJP, while the BSP is saying that the Hindus in the UP elections because of the Muslims going outright in favor of the SP. Votes got polarized. Because of this, the BJP was able to form a majority government again and the BSP had to face its worst defeat so far (BSP has won only one seat in the UP assembly elections of 2022).

Mayawati’s attempt is to convince the voters, especially Muslim voters, that BSP is the only party in UP that can defeat BJP and there is no point in voting for SP. On the other hand, the Samajwadi Party is constantly telling the BSP to be a party in collusion with the BJP. Akhilesh Yadav had held the BSP particularly responsible even after the Samajwadi Party’s defeat in the by-election to Azamgarh parliamentary seat in June this year. Please tell that BSP had fielded Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali from Azamgarh. Akhilesh Yadav had alleged that the BSP deliberately creates such candidates so that the votes of the SP are divided and the BJP benefits.

Mainpuri By-Election 2022: After Mulayam, the challenges are immense, how prepared is Akhilesh for the toughest exam in Mainpuri?

BSP and Congress did not field their candidates in Gola Gokarnath by-election. In the last election, BJP got 48.65 percent, SP got 37.40 percent, BSP got 10.37 percent and Congress got 1.35 percent votes. The SP had hoped that most of the voters who voted for the Congress and BSP last time would support it, but the results of the by-elections on November 6 ruined all this math. Political experts say that this time around 36 thousand less people voted than the last election.

This indicates that the BSP and Congress voters did not turn out and the SP voters also did not show the same enthusiasm as before. However, with the review of its defeat in Gola, the Samajwadi Party has started preparing for the upcoming by-elections to Mainpuri parliamentary seat and Rampur assembly seat on December 5. Here, Mayawati has also raised questions regarding the Mainpuri election.

Akhilesh brainstormed with leaders and workers in Saifai, decided the name of the candidate from Mainpuri

In her first tweet, Mayawati wrote – Gokarnath assembly by-election of UP’s Kheri is in a lot of discussion for the defeat of SP by 34,298 votes more than the victory of BJP. When BSP mostly does not contest by-elections and was not in the fray here too, what new excuse will SP make for its defeat? The BSP supremo wrote in another tweet- ‘Now in the by-elections for Mainpuri Lok Sabha and Rampur Assembly next month, just like Azamgarh, the challenge before the SP is to save these old seats. It has to be seen whether SP will be able to win these seats again after defeating BJP or if it is not able to defeat BJP, it will be proved again.
