Umesh Katti death: Umesh Katti’s father, Vishwanath Katti, died of a heart attack in the assembly

Bangalore: Minister Umesh Katti’s father, Vishwanath Katti, who died of a heart attack on Tuesday night, also died of a heart attack in the assembly. In 1984, Vishwanath Katthi, who was an MLA, had a heart attack in the House when the assembly session was going on. He collapsed and died in his seat in the House.

Umesh Katti’s father Vishwanath Katti Ramakrishna Hegde was a Janata Party MLA when he was Chief Minister. In 1984, Vishwanath Katthi, who was an MLA, collapsed after suffering a heart attack in the assembly session. He was immediately given first aid inside the house but it was not effective.

On that occasion, 25-year-old Umesh Katthi made his debut in politics. In the subsequent by-elections, Umesh Katti won from the Janata Party. Umesh Katti was originally accompanied by Ramakrishna Hegde. Later identified with JH Patel. Later he joined the BJP in the changed political scenario.
