Sonia Gandhi: Bharat Jodo Yatra: Sonia Gandhi is likely to arrive in the state on Thursday

Mysore:The Bharat Jodo Yatra has entered its third day and AICC President Sonia Gandhi is likely to arrive in the state on October 6 to participate in the Pada Yatra.

About Sonia Gandhi’s arrival in the state, KPCC president D. K. Shivakumar also said officially but did not clarify about the date. But according to top Congress sources, Sonia Gandhi is almost certain to arrive in the state on October 6.

But it is not yet clear how long Sonia Gandhi will participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra in the state. In view of the Karnataka elections, Sonia Gandhi’s participation in Bharat Jodo Yatra in the state has become important.

Bharat Jodo Yatra will end at APMC Bandipalaya on Sunday. There will be two days of rest after Monday’s walk. There will be rest on October 4 and 5. After that, the hike will start again on 6th. Sonia Gandhi is likely to be involved in this event.

In the presence of former AICC president Rahul Gandhi, a dinner was held in Badanavalu village of Nanjangud after 29 years by Veerashaiva and Dalit community people. 28 people from different communities of the village also had dinner in the program held as part of Bharat Jodo.

In 1993, there was an uproar between Veerashaivas and Dalits regarding the opening of the temple. Three Dalits were also killed on the same issue. In the background of this incident, a feud arose between the two communities. The road which was closed earlier in Badanavalu village has been made available for use by two communities through Shramdan.

It is special that this joint dinner event was held on the route of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. Speaking on the same issue, KPCC President D. K.
