Release of ₹49.74 crore grant for various works of temples, temples: Sasikala Jolle

Bangalore: Muzarai said that the Department of Muzarai has released a grant of 49.74 crore rupees for the current year 2022-23 for the worship project related to the repair, renovation and new construction of temples, pooja mandirs and prayer halls in places inhabited by scheduled caste, sect, Lambani Tanda, Vaddara Keri, backward and minority classes. Haj and Waqf Minister Mrs. Sasikala A Jolle said.

He has released a media statement in this regard, according to the government order dated 19.09.2011, according to the guidelines of special unit plan and tribal sub-plan, Rs. 19.38 crore and under TSP scheme Rs. 30.36 crore total grant of 49.74 crores has been released to 31 districts based on the number of assembly constituencies.

Minister Sasikala Jolle said that the government led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is giving more recognition to the development of religious centers in the state, and has released the largest amount of grants in the last 10 years, under the SCP and TSP scheme, religious places where people from scheduled castes, tribes and backward classes live. A grant of Rs 49.74 crore has been released under Aradhana Yojana for the development of centres. The minister said that the religious centers will be developed through the utilization of this grant.
