Bangalore: Siddaramaiah as CM and DK Sivakumar as DCM have taken oath of office in Kantheerava stadium in the city. In view of thousands of people joining the program, more arrangements have been made.

At present the seating capacity of Kantheerava Stadium is 30 thousand. Out of this, at least one thousand was reserved for the elite and four thousand for the nobles. 25,000 seats can be reserved for the rest of the workers and common people. Already, Congress workers across the state have joined forces with Siddaramaiah fans to take part in the inauguration ceremony.

From which districts people are coming

A large number of people are arriving for the program from Ramanagara, the home district of DK Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah’s hometown, Mysore. Elsewhere, people are likely to arrive in large numbers from Kolar, North Karnataka Vijayapur, Bagalkote, Koppala, Bellary districts where there is a large number of shepherd communities.

Already DK Shivakumar has openly invited everyone to attend the event. In this regard, the police is also making appropriate arrangements to control the traffic to control the people.

CMs of three states participated

CMs of three Congress-ruled states including Mamata Banerjee, Nitish Kumar, M Ranganath, Hemant Suresh will participate in this program. Along with them, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi will also be on the stage of the oath taking ceremony.

1500 Police Recruitment

VIPs are allowed to go separately at two gates of the stadium. Tight security has been carried out under the leadership of two Joint Commissioners of Police and two Additional Commissioners of Police. A total of 1,500 policemen have been deployed for security. Also, 10 ACPs, 28 CIs will look after the security.

500 policemen for vehicle control

500 traffic policemen will also be deployed around the stadium to control the traffic. Some changes have been made in the road traffic in order to control traffic congestion. Vehicles coming from Halasuru, MG Road, Richmond via Corporation are allowed to go to Majestic from Shivajinagar, Vidhana Soudha via Halasuru Lake.

Change of traffic route

The vehicles coming from the Corporation through Majestic route have been allowed to travel through Thimmaiah Road, Infentry Road through Vidhasoudha. Through this, arrangements have been made for the smooth running of the program.
