A BJP working meeting will be held at the city’s palace grounds on Friday. In view of the assembly elections, the state function has gained importance. Instructions are likely to be given in the meeting regarding election preparations, grassroots campaigning and ongoing work. In view of the election, preparations are being made for the district tour of the state leaders and there is a possibility of taking a decision on the public relations program.
AICC president Sonia Gandhi has also supported Bharat Jodo, which is being led by Rahul Gandhi in the state. Besides, Priyanka Gandhi will also step along with Rahul. As the Gandhi family is gaining foothold in Karnataka, this is likely to be electorally beneficial for the Congress. In this regard, BJP’s plan is to devise a suitable counter-strategy for this. BJP is strategizing to counter the Congress by formulating counter programmes.
Morcha program
In view of the election, the convention of various morchas of BJP is being held in different parts of the state. It has been decided to hold Yuva Morcha convention in Shimoga, OBC Morcha convention in Kalyana Karnataka, SC Morcha convention in Mysore, ST Morcha convention in Bellary. Through this, the BJP has started to speed up the party organization programs at the grassroots level.
