Coffee Day Owner’s Property, Illegal Earnings: Complaint to Lokayukta against Congress MLA TD Rajegowda

Bengaluru: A complaint has been lodged with the Lokayukta against Sringeri Congress MLA TD Rajegowda for allegedly acquiring property illegally. It is mentioned in the complaint that a person named Vijayananda has filed a complaint and has illegally acquired the property of late Siddarth Heggade, the owner of Coffee Day.

It has been alleged that 265 acres of land has been purchased illegally in Balehonnur of Chikmagalur district. Purchased property without any accounting. Due to this, the government exchequer has lost about 75 crores. Raje Gowda has declared 25 crore assets during the submission of affidavit during the 2018 assembly elections. But now it has been mentioned in the complaint that he has bought property worth 200 crores without any documents. It is also alleged that illegal money was used in this purchase.

Rajegowda is assisted by Siddharth. Later the garden will be named after Rajegowda. 32 lakh income has been calculated. But this property is more than 200 crores, he said.
