75th independence day: We have to send a message that we are all Indians beyond caste, caste and creed: CM Bommai

Bangalore: CM Basavaraja Bommai said that there is a festive atmosphere across the state in the wake of the 75th Amrita Mahotsav of Independence, and we have to send a message that we are all Indians regardless of caste, creed and creed.

On Saturday, he hoisted the national flag as part of Har Ghar Tiranga at his RT Nagar residence in Bengaluru. On this occasion, his wife Channamma, son Bharat, Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar was present. Speaking later, he said that the Har Ghar Tiranga program has started on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Har Ghar Tiranga and 75th Independence Day celebrations have already started in every town of the state. He said that the state has a very festive and enthusiastic atmosphere.

The state government has distributed 1 crore 8 lakh national flags. 400 to 500 flags have been distributed to each gram panchayat. He said that we should send the message that we are all one by hoisting the national flag on every house.

75 years of independence is a milestone. It is an occasion for introspection and retrospection. The Prime Minister called the remaining 25 years Amrita Kaal. He said that during that period, India should be seen as a power and prosperous and the whole world should look towards us.

On 15th August also we all should celebrate Independence Day with great enthusiasm. On the same occasion, the CM requested that we should spread the message that we are all one beyond caste, caste and creed.
