WBPSC Recruitment- West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released the recruitment. West Bengal Public Service Commission has invited applications for 300 posts of General Duty Medical Officer. The application process will be started from September 21, 2023. Interested candidates can fill their application form through the official website of WBPSC wbpsc.gov.in. The last date to apply has been fixed as October 12, 2023.

Vacancy details- This recruitment drive will be conducted to fill 300 vacancies in West Bengal Public Service Commission, category wise details of which are as follows-
SC Category- 67
ST Category- 19
OBC-A Category- 43
OBC-B Category- 29
PWD Category-14
EWS Category – 26
Unreserved category- 102

Age Range- The maximum age for general medical graduates has been fixed at 36 years. At the same time, the age of the candidates having postgraduate medical qualification should not be more than 40 years.

Application fee- Candidates have to pay ₹210 application fee to apply for the post of General Duty Medical Officer of WBPSC. Whereas, SC/ST. Candidates from West Bengal and candidates belonging to Benchmark Disability (PWD) category with physical disability of 40% and above will not have to pay the application fee.

educational qualification- For this post, it is mandatory to have a medical qualification included in the First and Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and registration as a medical practitioner in West Bengal.
