UPSSSC: Demand raised for recruitment to the posts of Agricultural Technical Assistant

UPPSC, UPSSSC Technical Assistant: Competitive Student Struggle Committee has demanded to start the recruitment process for the posts of Agricultural Technical Assistant pending for the last 10 months. The students associated with the committee have issued a jointly signed statement saying that the advertisement for recruitment to 3446 posts of Agricultural Technical Assistant was to be issued in the year 2022, which has not been issued even after 10 months. In this regard, agricultural students protested several times at the Public Service Commission and the Subordinate Services Selection Commission, but no hearing has taken place till now. Agricultural competitive students Abhinav Mishra, Vishal Singh, Amit Shukla, Nikhil Shukla, Brijendra Pandey, Shubham Maurya, Amit etc. have submitted a memorandum demanding release of recruitment advertisement.

The agriculture students who went to submit the memorandum were assured by the Commission that work on the advertisement related to them has been started. Requisitions have been received for some new posts, they are also being examined. That too will be completed soon. Thereafter, advertisement for Agricultural Technical Assistant recruitment will be released soon.

Ongoing applications for 411 posts of RO-ARO-

It is noteworthy that UPPSC had extended the last date of application for Review Officer (RO)/Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Recruitment Examination-2023 till November 24, for which the application process is going on. Till Thursday evening, 13 lakh 65 thousand 315 candidates had registered. That means there will be more than 3300 contenders for one post. 13 lakh 58 thousand 848 candidates have also received OTR numbers. 5,59,155 candidates had applied for RO/ARO 2021.

Waiting for UPSSSC PET Result:

It is noteworthy that the Subordinate Services Selection Commission is waiting for the result of Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 for recruitment to Group C posts which can be released soon. PET answer key was released on November 7 on the Commission’s website upsssc.gov.in. The last date for filing objection on the basis of answer key was 15 November 2023. UP PET result will be based on the final answer key. Now PET result can be released any day.
