UPSRTC: 150 contenders for 1 post in UP Roadways Conductor Recruitment, some candidate graduate and some MA

UPSRTC UP Roadways Conductor Recruitment: There have been large scale applications for the recruitment of conductors in UP Roadways Prayagraj Zone. Despite the problems faced in online application, 39,885 candidates have applied for 265 posts in Prayagraj region. Intermediate is the minimum educational qualification prescribed for operator recruitment. Now the situation of unemployment is that more than 70 percent of the applicants are graduates. Some have done MA and some have taken diploma. Many youths say that they could not apply, so if the date is extended, then they too will get a chance to join the recruitment.

In the recruitment of operators in roadways, 56 posts are reserved for scheduled castes, five for scheduled tribes, 72 for other backward classes, 119 for general and 13 for economically weaker sections. The educational qualification for recruitment has been kept as Intermediate. Recruitment is being done through outsourcing. There will be no preference on higher educational qualification in recruitment. Even after this only graduates, masters and diploma holders have applied. Masters Shubham Mishra, Aman Kumar studying law and their colleagues have applied.

Selected candidates will be posted at Depot of Prayagraj. Selected outsourcing conductors will be paid on KM basis. The details of the incentive are as follows –
per km – Rs 1.59
22 duty days in a month 5000 kms. And Rs 3000 incentive on earning 50% load factor.
Rs 60 per night in A class cities
Rs 61 per night in B class cities
