Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is recruiting candidates for Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) through Civil Services Examination (CSE 2023). Candidates who are interested to get jobs in Railway can apply online on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. Let us tell you, UPSC IRMS application has already started on the official website. The last date for submission of application is 21 February 2023.

UPSC will conduct the preliminary exam on 28th May 2023 for those candidates who are applying for IRMS Recruitment. Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be called for the second stage of the exam i.e. IRMS Main written exam. Let us tell you, all the eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination.

UPSC IRMS Educational Qualification

Degree in Engineering/Degree in Commerce/Chartered Accountancy obtained from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 Are.

Let us tell you, UPSC will prepare a list of finally recommended candidates from the four subjects in the order of merit and declare the result.

(150 marks) is being tied up with UPSC which will include the following numbers out of four optional subjects; Civil (30) Mechanical (30) Electrical (60) and Commerce & Accountancy (30).

Exam pattern will be like this

IRMS (Main) Examination will have four papers of conventional essay type questions.

Paper A – One Indian language from among the languages ​​included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution to be chosen by the candidates – 300 marks

Paper B – English – 300 Marks

Optional Subject – Paper 1 – 250 Marks

Optional Subject – Paper 2 – 250 Marks

Personality Test – 100 Marks

Explain, while paper A and A will be qualifying papers. Two optional papers will be considered for merit. Optional subjects are: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Commerce & Accountancy.

“General candidates of Civil Services (Main) Examination and IRMS (Main) Examination may opt for any one of the above mentioned optional subjects for both these examinations or may choose separate optional subjects for these examinations.
