Recruitment information was given 15 days ago on the new website
The new recruitment information was made available 15 days ago on the new website of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. One Time Registration (OTR) facility is operational on the new website. Once after giving their information, the students will get the unique OTR number, after which they will be able to apply for the recruitment in one click on the basis of the same. The commission has asked the students to fill the OTR by March 31.
OTR mandatory for application from April 1
Keeping in mind the convenience of the competitive students, the commission has started the facility of One Time Registration (OTR). Once after giving their information, the students will get the unique OTR number, after which they will be able to apply for the recruitment in one click on the basis of the same. The Commission has set a target of getting OTR filled by the students by March 31. OTR will be mandatory in all types of advertisements issued after April 1. Secretary Alok Kumar has advised the candidates to complete the OTR process before March 31. Chairman Sanjay Shrinate believes that 10 to 12 lakh candidates apply for the recruitment of the commission. A large number of them are students from rural background who have to pay money to cyber cafe owners for repeated registration. Once the registration is done, they will be able to complete the application process by filling only the fees and a few pieces of information.
Will be out on reaching the maximum age limit
The candidates who have reached the maximum age limit will automatically be excluded from the data that the Commission is collecting from the candidates through OTR. There are separate age limits for applying for general and reserved category candidates. For example, the general category candidate has completed 40 years of age, his data will automatically be deleted because he cannot apply for future recruitments.
Advantages of OTR
Candidates will not be required to repeatedly fill the details of records related to their educational qualification and basic information for various examinations.
Along with saving time in filling new application forms, candidates’ money will also be saved.
There will be enough opportunity to revise the basic information, which will lead to minimum chances of errors.
If there is any mistake during the review, then the students can correct it themselves.
Due to filling wrong information in haste or at the last moment, technical problems will get rid of.
– In the past, many candidates used to fill multiple forms for the same examination, due to which the government was facing financial loss and there was a possibility of disturbances.
Earlier, many candidates used to apply by mentioning different castes in a fraudulent manner to take undue advantage of reservation in the examinations. This doubt will also not remain in OTR.
