UP Police Constable Vacancy 2023: Advertisement for the recruitment of new constables from UP Police can be issued this month. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Lucknow has further increased the number of vacancies to 26210 by about 9000 posts for the constable recruitment in the month of December. An indication has also been received from the UP government that new constable recruitment will be started soon in the state. In such a situation, it is expected that the notification of UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023 can be issued in February this month. Advertisement of UP Police Recruitment will be published on the official website of UPPPPB at upbpbp.gov.in along with publication in Employment Newspaper. Candidates who are eagerly waiting for the start of UP Police Recruitment are advised to keep checking the official website of UP Police from time to time for latest information related to recruitment.
Earlier it was going that the new constable recruitment of UP Police could start by December 2022, but due to some reasons the recruitment notification could not be issued yet. It is expected that by the end of February, the recruitment of constable will be started. In the tender notice issued for the constable recruitment exam, information has been issued by the UP Police, about 20 lakh applications can come for this recruitment. But now due to passage of some time and increase in the number of posts, the number of applications may also increase.

12th pass candidates will be able to apply:
This time the UP Police Recruitment Board can allow 12th pass candidates in the age group of 18 to 22 years to participate in the constable recruitment. However, candidates will have to wait for the release of UP Police recruitment advertisement for accurate information about application eligibility and age limit. The last recruitment in the state for the posts of constable came out in the year 2018, so a large number of candidates can take part in this recruitment. That means bumper applications are expected to come.
The UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam will be conducted in offline mode on OMR sheet. That is, the exam will not be computer mode (CBT) type. There will be objective type questions and circles have to be filled in on the OMR sheet.
UP Police Constable Exam Syllabus 2023:
In the exam, questions will come from the subjects General Knowledge, General Hindi, Science, Numerical, Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude/IQ and Reasoning Ability which will be objective type. The written test will be conducted under CCTV and there will be video coverage of the same.
