UP Police Constable Bharti 2023: There is good news for lakhs of candidates preparing to become police constables in Uttar Pradesh. Recently, Public Relations Department, Uttar Pradesh Government has indicated that 52699 Police Constable Recruitment will start in October 2023. In such a situation, it is expected that by the end of October 2023, recruitment notification will be issued by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow. On September 29, 2023, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered to speed up the ongoing recruitment process in all departments. Along with this, a notice regarding constable physical test was issued on the website of UPPBPB. According to the notice of UP Police, recruitment will be done on 2469 posts of Sub Inspector, 2833 posts of Jail Warder and 52699 posts of Constable. About 25 lakh applications can come for this recruitment of UP Police.
In this recruitment, 20 thousand to 2 lakh candidates will participate in the physical efficiency test. The physical test will be held in Varanasi, Agra, Meerut, Prayagraj, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Kanpur. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered that the ongoing selection process for various posts in the police department should be completed by the month of December 2023. The application process will start on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board, uppbpb.gov.in. 12th pass candidates whose age is 18 to 22 years will be able to participate in UPP Constable Recruitment. However, updated information about application eligibility and age limit will be given in the recruitment notification.
Tender issued for OTR for recruitment to 67000 posts:
For the proposed recruitment process to start on 67000 posts of constable and SI in UP Police, the recruitment board has invited tender for the design and implementation of OTR (One-Time-Registraion) by the competent agency. It is expected that after the selection of the competent agency, UP Police Recruitment 2023 will be started soon.
Possible Physical Test for Constable:
According to UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018, male candidates will have to complete a race of 4.8 km (UP Police Constable Race) in 25 minutes and female candidates will have to complete a race of 2.4 km in 14 minutes. It will be mandatory for every candidate to pass this examination. However, its marks will not be added to the merit. For the new rules, candidates must see the notice to be issued by UPPBPB in the coming time.
