A total of 433 posts have been sanctioned in various categories for each medical college. Rajanna Sirisilla, Kamareddy, Vikarabad, Khammam, Karimnagar, Jaya Shankar Bhupalapalli, Komarambhim Asifabad, Janagam, Nirmal Medical Colleges and their affiliated hospitals will be recruiting government jobs. A total of 15,476 posts under Director of Medical Education have been sanctioned so far for 9 newly established medical colleges, including 12 medical colleges started after the formation of Telangana.

The government is setting up a medical college in the district with the aim of providing super specialty medicine and education to the people. Before the formation of Telangana, there were only 5 medical colleges in the united state, but soon after the formation of the state, CM KCR established four medical colleges in Mahbubnagar, Siddipet, Nalgonda and Suryapet. After that 8 more medical colleges were established. Thus the total number of government medical colleges increased from 5 to 17 in 8 years. As part of this, Chief Minister KCR virtually inaugurated 8 medical colleges across the state on November 15 this year. With this additional 1150 medical seats have become available. The number of MBBS seats in government colleges was 850 in 2014, which has increased to 2790 by this year. As part of the idea of ​​having one medical college in all the districts, the government is taking steps to establish 9 more medical colleges next year. As part of this, the Finance Department has issued orders sanctioning 3,897 posts today.
