SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 has been announced. Notification for new recruitment for the posts of GD Constable in CAPF, NIA, SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifle will be released on 24 November 2023. For this, you will be able to apply by visiting ssc.nic.in till 28 December 2023. Through GD Constable Recruitment, thousands of vacancies of constables in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and riflemen in Assam Rifles will be filled. GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 will be conducted on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 February and 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 March, 2024.

Demand for one year exemption

Earlier, more than 50 thousand vacancies were released in the SSC GD Constable Recruitment Examination 2022. This time also bumper vacancy is expected. Some candidates are demanding from the government to increase the maximum age limit by one year due to Corona.

Exam will be held in 13 languages

The examination for recruitment to the post of Constable GD in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will now be conducted in 13 regional languages ​​apart from Hindi and English. With this decision of the Home Ministry, lakhs of candidates appearing in the GD Constable Recruitment Examination will be able to take the examination in their mother tongue. This will increase their chances of selection.

Eligibility – 10th pass youth will be able to apply for constable recruitment. Age limit will be 18 years to 23 years. There will be a relaxation of three years for OBC and five years for SC ST category in the maximum age limit.

Selection – First there will be written examination (computer based). Successful candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST).

In the Physical Test, male candidates will have to run 5 km in 24 minutes. During the Physical Efficiency Test, male candidates will have to run 5 km. Apart from this, you will also have to run 1.6 km in 6 and a half minutes.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination of those who pass PET/PST. PET PST will be merely qualifying.
