Under the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2023 examination of the Staff Selection Commission, there will be recruitment on 8415 posts in various ministries, offices and departments of the Central Government. The Commission released the details of the posts on Friday. Earlier in August, the vacancy in SSC CGL 2023 was increased from 7500 to 8440. But now 25 posts have been reduced in it. At the time of release of the notification on April 3, the Commission had received information about 7500 posts, which has now increased to 8415. Its final result is likely to be declared in the end of November or the first week of December.
Out of total 8415 posts, there are maximum 2389 posts of Inspector in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs under the Ministry of Finance. Of these, there are 1197 posts for unreserved category, 430 for Scheduled Caste, 202 for Scheduled Tribe, 364 for OBC and 196 for EWS.
The Staff Selection Commission had conducted the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2023 tier-one examination between July 14 and 27. The answer key has been released. 24,74,030 applications have been received for CGL 2023. CGL examination is conducted for recruitment to vacant Group B and Group C level posts in various ministries, departments, organizations of the Government of India.
