Sarkari Naukri: 300 engineers will be recruited in development authorities of Uttar Pradesh

UP JE Recruitment 2023: The state government is going to fill about 300 posts of Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer vacant for years in the development authorities. Direct recruitment will be done on the posts of JE and AE and the posts of Superintending Engineer and Chief Engineer will be filled on the basis of promotion. An exercise in this direction has been started at the government level.

There have been no recruitments for the posts of junior engineers in the development authorities of the state for years. There are 380 posts of Junior Engineer Civil in development authorities, out of which 52 are vacant. Similarly, 152 posts out of 173 in electrical engineering are vacant. There are a total of 181 posts of Assistant Engineer. Of these, 91 posts are filled by promotion and out of 90 posts by direct recruitment, 63 are vacant. Of these, 21 have been selected from the Public Service Commission. Work is about to start soon to fill the remaining vacant posts.

Out of 54 posts of Assistant Engineer Electrical Mechanical, 27 are of direct recruitment, out of which seven posts are vacant. Apart from this, 10 posts of Superintending Engineer and four posts of Chief Engineer are vacant. The housing department has started an exercise to fill the promoted posts through DPC and direct recruitment posts through Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission and Uttar Pradesh Public Service Selection Commission. After permission from the higher level, the proposal will be sent to the respective commissions to fill these posts.
