In this, training has been provided to 1292 panchayat assistants at the state level.
Under the supervision of Director Panchayati Raj Anuj Kumar Jha, general and technical training sessions are being organized at the state level through Departmental Resource Persons. This two-day residential training of Panchayat Assistants has been started in collaboration with Panchayati Raj Training Institute (PRIT) and Center for Catalyzing Change, funded by BMGF. Its purpose is to provide useful information to the panchayat assistants about the works related to them. After receiving the training, the newly selected Panchayat Assistant will always be available to help the general public as an accessible support worker.
