Fack Check: Bad publicity on social media about AP government agreement with Baijus .. Officials who gave clarity

AP Education News: Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan on Friday signed an agreement with BYJU’s Ed-Tech Company to provide quality education in government schools across the state. Speaking to media on the occasion, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said, “We distribute content-accessed tabs created by Ed-Tech Company to students in Class VIII every year. The content in those tabs will be upgraded by the time they reach 9th grade. After that the content will be upgraded again by 10th class. This is how we distribute tabs to students entering 8th grade each year. The result is useful for students to pass the CBSE exams. This year’s textbooks have already been printed and from next year we will include Baiju content in bilingual textbooks for 4th to 10th class students, ”said CM Jagan.

He also said .. ‘Baijus’ company has also responded in accordance with the students studying in government schools. To access Baijus’ content, a private school student has to pay around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. Costs up to Rs 24,000. So it is a good thing that Baijus came forward to provide this kind of content for free. Content is free .. We only have to spend for tabs. It costs over Rs 500 crore to distribute 4 lakh 70 thousand tabs every year. We are moving forward with the aim of giving quality education despite the high cost, ”said CM Jagan.

This is a fact: The cost of one tablet is Rs. There is a false propaganda on social media that CM Jagan has said that it will be 4 lakh 70 thousand. The Chief Minister said that the tabs were being distributed to 4 lakh 70 thousand students and about the cost. Officials commented on this via Twitter.
