CSBC Bihar Police Constable Bharti: The process of appointment of 21 thousand 391 new policemen in Bihar will be completed by December. Presently the dates for the written examination have been announced. The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has announced to organize written examination for their appointment on 1st October, 7th October and 15th October. At the same time, it is proposed to conduct the physical examination of all the candidates in large numbers after the end of the rainy season so that there is no water logging in the field. After conducting the physical examination in November, the merit list of selected eligible candidates will be released in December.
According to the state’s Additional Director General of Police, Headquarters Jitendra Singh Gangwar, personnel for cyber, forensics, traffic and law and order will be made available in the newly selected police forces. On the one hand, this will help in immediately curbing the incidents of crime. At the same time, technically proficient policemen from the selected police forces will be available for cyber and forensic cells. At the same time, traffic and dial 112 campaign will also be made available to these policemen. An internal committee has been constituted at the police headquarters level for his selection.
Number of sanctioned forces 2 lakh 27 thousand
The number of sanctioned police forces in the state is 2 lakh 27 thousand. At present 1.20 lakh policemen are deployed. After the new appointment, the number of policemen will increase to 1.41 lakh. The national average of policemen per lakh population is 155. Whereas, in Bihar the approved average of policemen per one lakh population is 115.26 while the actual ratio is 90. Efforts are being made to deploy 150 to 160 police forces per one lakh population in the state.
